Join Us May 30th for “Saturday at the Armory: a live stream event”

At Arts at the Armory, we believe in bringing people together. The current COVID-19 crisis has left our usually busy performance hall and cafe empty as we await an end to the pandemic. But in the spirit of our mission, we believe that there are still ways of unifying our community even while we all stay at home. That’s why we’re announcing Saturday at the Armory: A Live Streaming Event!

On Saturday, May 30th we will be assembling a day of free virtual programming to share on Instagram Live. This event will be full of the kinds of events that you’d expect to see on a typical day at The Armory–from Zumba classes, to poetry readings, to concerts, all shared by presenters in the comfort of their own homes. A schedule will be posted soon detailing the day’s fun events so you can be connected to the Armory community even while our doors are closed.

These events are free but if you’d like to support our COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund, we’ll be inviting viewers to make a donation to Arts at the Armory or support the artists and teachers who will be presenting. If you don’t already follow Arts at the Armory on Instagram, get ready to participate on May 30th by following us at We are excited to share this with you!

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Somerville Arts Council, a local agency supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
