Dear dancing friends, step with us fully into the New Year and join Vortex Ecstatic Dance – this time (and just this time) at the Somerville Armory. Our dancing family is growing and we are exploring bigger spaces. Our first Vortex of the year will guide us through the New Year ritual with Masha to strengthen our intentions. Hawley Brett will get us all moving with Contact Improv warm up followed by a wave of ecstatic beats with DJ Luminus . This occasion calls for some bright funky beats, deep bass, cheerful sing-alongs. and heart opening strings.

This magical journey will conclude with live songs and harmonizing with Desiree. We can’t wait to experience it with you.
