Come experience the very first staged reading of a new original play by local playwright Trevor Turnbow!

The Ecology of Deep-Sea Hydrothermal Vents follows a scientist learning to navigate both her relationship and her passion for science and discovery, leading her on a journey to an undersea world in which deep sea creatures reflect the culture and experiences of a queer club. This gives her an opportunity to learn more than she could have ever thought possible about the ecology of the ocean, herself, and how she experiences the world.

The staged reading will take place shortly after doors open at 7:00. Following the reading there will be an opportunity for a talkback with the playwright, who is hoping for feedback from the audience as they work on their next draft of the play.

This event is not ticketed. Masks are encouraged.
