Somerville Homeless Coalition Exhibition Opening Reception

Echos is a self-titled exhibition of works by current members of Somerville Homeless Coalition (SHC) and a final project of an ongoing weekly art meet-up hosted at the SHC’s engagement center in Davis Square.

SHC provides homeless and nearly homeless individuals and families with individualized supportive services and tailored housing solutions with a goal of obtaining and maintaining affordable housing. The Somerville Homeless Coalition was created by the community’s grassroots response to the social crisis of homelessness in 1985. Today, SHC transforms lives by providing services, support, and housing for over 5,900 individuals.

The exhibition will be on view at ROOTED café from May 13 through June 30.

Please join us to celebrate the artists at an opening reception. All artwork will be for sale. The evening will include music and spoken-word performances.
