Arts at the Armory’s Rooted Armory Cafe will present the NEW Rooted Music Series beginning in November 2023! Rachel Sumner will kick off the series with a solo performance on November 3rd.
ARTIST BIO:
With songs as sweet and biting as the nectar and venom in her voice, Rachel Sumner has been captivating audiences throughout the northeast with her Lennon Award-winning songwriting. Her roots run deep in bluegrass and traditional folk music, but Sumner’s lyric-forward storytelling, haunting melodies, and penchant for snaking chord progressions will take you out a bit beyond the realm of conventional folk music – sure to leave you enchanted.
