During the event, our special guest Malavanych will show the magical Batleika, traditional Belarusian amateur puppet theatre, and the performance of Pippi-Longstocking in the Belarusian language, read the poems of Belarusian poets, and organize some games for children and adults.

Unfortunately, the Belarusian language is endangered due to discriminatory language policies by authoritarian officials in Belarus. Therefore, the Belarusian community of Boston meets annually to celebrate and promote their language.
