Arts at the Armory Spotlight Series Presents: Ryan Montbleau Band [SOLD OUT]

Arts at the Armory Spotlight Series Presents: Ryan Montbleau Band [SOLD OUT]

Fri. Apr. 14, 2023 at 7:00 pm

This Spotlight Series concert is sold out. The concert is standing room with seating on the mezzanine.

Arts at the Armory welcomes the Ryan Montbleau Band as part of its Spotlight Series on April 14, 2023. Montbleau has toured around the world for over twenty years, sharing his introspective brand of folk and Americana-infused songs from Peru to Carnegie Hall. Despite his history of traveling and recording at breakneck speeds, Montbleau found there is value in stillness as the pandemic brought him to settle in Vermont where he has been writing new music.

Montbleau began his music career in the early 2000s touring around his home state of Massachusetts. His prolific songwriting journey goes hand-in-hand with a telescopic exploration of self-awareness and purpose. NPR’s Mountain Stage compared his “eloquent, soulful songwriting” to Bill Withers and James Taylor, while Relix celebrated his “poetic Americana,” and The Boston Herald raved that “he’s made a career of confident, danceable positivity.”

Come to Arts at the Armory on April 14 and take a journey with the Ryan Montbleau Band through Ryan’s new EPs: Wood, Fire, Water, and Air. The Spotlight Series amplifies diverse, creative voices locally and globally. The series includes music, theatre, dance, comedy, multimedia, literary and interdisciplinary arts performances that create immersive experiences to spark inspiration and intercultural learning.

Doors open at 7:00PM; Show starts at 8:00PM. The opener will be Kat Wright!
