Presenting: Jack Benson’s Virtue Alliance

Thu. Jul. 16, 2026 at 6:30 pm - 11:00 pm

Our collective of dedicated musicians is in constant pursuit of capturing the human condition in music form.

The brainchild of national award-winning composer and trumpeter Jack Benson, this orchestral group draws from the idioms of Jazz, R&B, Classical, and a dash of everything else to create new music that speaks to our place in the world, the emotional truth, and the systemic change we want to see.

Functioning as a 17-piece big band, we explore the endless possibilities of textures and colors to create meaningful art. Our set contains a healthy mix of catchy originals and arrangements of classics/hits. We play everything from the videogame music of Undertale to the mega-hits of Bruno Mars to the songbook standards of George Gershwin.

Arts at the Armory serves delicious locally sourced food and drink at the Performance Hall bar when doors open (usually one hour before the show). Please arrive early to enjoy dinner and drinks before the event. The full menu can be viewed HERE. Check out Parking/Directions and FAQs for more information about our venue.
