Wicked Good Aht Mahket

Sun. Oct. 19, 2025 at 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Come gather at Arts at the Armory in Somerville for the Wicked Good Aht Mahket – Harvest Edition.

Fall is in the air, and the Aht Dept is bringing you a harvest of creativity! Just like a juicy heirloom tomato fresh from the farmers’ market, local aht is grown right here in our community — nourished by the same storms, the same sunshine, the same city buzz we all share.

Celebrate the fruits of our artistic labor with local makers, whimsical wonders, and treasures ripe for the picking.

30+ LOCAL ARTISTS
FREE ENTRY!

The Aht Dept. began as a backyard art show in 2022 put on by a passionate group of local artists trying to showcase their own aht. It has since grown to put on larger events and festivals that connect artists to each other and the greater community as a whole. We strive to make AHT accessible and provide opportunities for local artists to showcase and sell their creations.

About the film:
The classic novel, The Phantom of the Opera (Le Fantôme de l’Opéra), was written by French author Gaston Leroux in 1910. The film, directed by Rupert Julian in 1925 features Lon Chaney as Erik The Phantom and Mary Philbin as singer Christine Daae, is the closest adaptation of Leroux’s novel. Certain scenes caused quite a stir among movie goers and we’re excited to present this film with new music created in the moment 100 years later!

The Dylan Jack Quartet is:
Dylan Jack: drums and vibraphone
Jerry Sabatini – brass and percussion
Eric Hofbauer: guitar and electronics
Tony Leva – bass
