For Her: International Women’s Day Recital
Sat. Mar. 08, 2025 at 1:00 pm - 2:15 pm
“For Her” is a program born from the intense moments of connection I’ve shared with the women in my life—what I call “you too?” moments. Those stolen glances across a bar, the joyful oversharing of a girls’ night, or the deep confessions that bind us in shared experiences.
This year, I’ve expanded that lens of connection, curating a program featuring music, poetry, and art created entirely by Massachusetts-based artists. Now more than ever, I believe it’s essential to celebrate and uplift the work happening in our local communities. In doing so, I’ve had the privilege of even more unexpected “you too?” moments.
This performance delves into diverse facets of the femme experience, giving voice to the lived-experiences of many. The composers and performers involved in this recital represent a broad range of perspectives across the gender spectrum. As artists, we work to celebrate the myriad of intersections of femme experiences and to promote conversation and connection

I am thrilled to be hosting a donation drive at this concert for Rosie’s Place in honor of Women’s History Month! When speaking with their compassionate team, it was brought to my attention that there is a need for underwear at the shelter—something we often overlook but can make a huge difference! Please consider bringing a pair of UNWORN underwear with tags on them to donate. You may also donate via venmo to have items purchased from their wishlist in your honor.
