Herbstalk brings together local herbalists, farmers, medicine makers, teachers, healers and artists who come to share their knowledge, products and passion with one another.

Join our joyful community for a weekend of:

Indoor and outdoor classes related to herbalism & plants, holistic well-being, environmental awareness and community connectedness
A marketplace showcasing local, hand-made herbal goods and whole-plant products
BIPOC led classes, art and healing offerings

Jazz vocalist (and flute player) Rick Silberg holds a weekly residency in the Armory Cafe. Stop by throughout the morning; a varied line-up will play jazz favorites and great American classics.

Start and end times may vary week to week, but there will be music through much of the morning – stop by and check it out!

Free event, donations appreciated.

Please Note: As of August 28, 2021, the Center for Arts at the Armory will require all staff and event guests to show proof of vaccination status. Children under the age of 12 will not have to show proof of vaccination for admittance to events but are required to wear a mask. Guests who wear masks and present a negative COVID test 24 to 72 hours prior to the event will also be admitted. Guests are encouraged to show proof of vaccination from their cell phones. In addition, once inside the Armory building, the Center for Arts at the Armory requires all staff, volunteers, interns, vendors, shoppers and guests to wear a mask regardless of whether they have been vaccinated against COVID-19.

Somerville Songwriter Sessions

The Somerville Songwriter Sessions at the Armory Cafe present a live, in-person concert with featured singer/songwriters. The concert will include a solo set by each artist, followed by a round robin song swap.

Suggested Donation: $15.
