Bagong Kulturang Pinoy Battle of the Bands

Local Filipino bands and musicians battle it out and showcase their talents.

BKP would like to promote talented Filipino musicians by giving away cash prizes – $1000 for the champion! And cash prizes to the other winners of the first Pinoy Battle of the Bands!

This event will benefit children in the Philippines.

Bands that cover popular music, OPM, and Filipino alternative music of the 90’s, like Parokya ni Edgar, Teeth, Sandwich, Wolfgang, Rivermaya, and Eraserheads. Or any genre that can get the audience on their feet. Bands must play at least one original composition within the 25-minute stage time. Judges are from the area and are very much involved in the music field.
