Artist Bio: Jayme Horne is a Boston based artist and art historian. Jayme works primarily in oil paint and explores themes around identity with surrealist imagery inspired by horror movie iconography. Jayme is interested in exploring the intersection of his own desires and fears.
Jayme graduated with departmental honors from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, with a dual degree in Fine Art Painting and History of Art.
She has worked and collaborated with numerous organizations and artists including the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, the Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra, and Totó La Momposina.

Arts at the Armory Spotlight Series puts the spotlight on local, national and international artists from diverse communities, and provides platforms that amplify these voices. The series includes music, theatre, dance, comedy, multimedia, literary and interdisciplinary arts performances that create immersive experiences sparking joy, inspiration, reflection, and intercultural learning.
