Arts at the Armory Spotlight Series Presents Riders in the Sky

Arts at the Armory Spotlight Series Presents Riders in the Sky

Fri. Jun. 16, 2023 at 5:00 pm

America’s favorite cowboys deliver Grammy Award-winning Comedy & Western in “Forty-Five Years the Cowboy Way!”

Arts at the Armory’s Spotlight Series is delighted to present Riders in the Sky on June 16!

For more than forty years, Riders In The Sky has been the keeper of the flame passed on by the Sons of the Pioneers, Gene Autry and Roy Rogers, reviving and revitalizing Western music. And while remaining true to the integrity of the genre, they have themselves become modern-day icons with their own legendary wacky humor and way-out Western wit, and all along encouraging buckaroos and buckarettes to live life “The Cowboy Way!”

Riders In The Sky is the star of the stage, screen, the Grand Ole Opry, National Public Radio, Sirius/XM Satellite Radio, Saturday morning TV, and is the only exclusively Western artist group to have won a Grammy Award. They truly are “America’s Favorite Cowboys”!

Doors open at 5:00PM; show starts at 6:00PM. Get tickets here. The country music duo Martin and Kelly will open!

Arts at the Armory Spotlight Series puts the spotlight on local, national and international artists from diverse communities, and provides platforms that amplify these voices. The series includes music, theatre, dance, comedy, multimedia, literary and interdisciplinary arts performances that create immersive experiences sparking joy, inspiration, reflection, and intercultural learning.

Tickets to Arts at the Armory Spotlight Series performances are non-refundable and non-returnable after purchase. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

After our set, we’ll open up the stage to everyone for an open mic – please don’t be shy!

Doors open: 7:30 PM
Show starts: 8:00 PM

RSVP to reserve your spot.

About baobaebee!:

We are Cindy and Georgian, Chinese-American best friends from a small town in PA who love creating music. The two of us sang together for years at local school events before we started writing songs together in 2020 under the artist name XINJIAN. You can find our previously released music on Spotify and Apple Music.

baobaebee! is our newest endeavor, marking the transition of our music into its next season– a deeper, more introspective reflection of the quietest musings and most irrational moods in our lives.

Donations are appreciated 🙂
