Inauguration Ceremony of Little Library & Zine Stand

Join us on May 11th at 5:30pm until 6pm for an Inauguration Ceremony for a Little Library to be installed by Arts at the Armory in front of the Armory building. Consider staying for our Night in Bloom Gala.

We are also partnering with The Take-a-Zine Leave-a-Zine Project, Pleasure Pie, and Mass Makers to install a Zine Stand specifically for zines and other printed matter by independent artists. The Take-a-Zine Leave-a-Zine Project (@takeazine on Instagram) plants community-run bookstands across Massachusetts to foster the trade of zines, art books, and printed matter. Pleasure Pie (pleasurepie.org & @pleasurepie on Instagram) is a small sexual justice organization that makes zines and fosters community around sexual freedom and zines in the Boston area, and is coordinating this collaboration. Mass Makers (mass-makers.com & @mass.makers on Instagram) is a foundry for collaborative, artist driven fabrication and experimentation, based in Boston, and have volunteered to build and install the library.
