Somerville Open Studios 2023 will take place Saturday + Sunday, May 6-7, 2023, from 12-6 pm each day. To prepare for the event, view or download a map and view a directory of participating artists. Printed maps will also be available at locations across the city of Somerville. There will be a trolley service during the days of the event to make it easy for you to get around.

Sylvia Lustig (violin), Lauren Hawkes (violin), Sam Duncan (viola), and Eric Hochwald (cello) met when they were undergraduates playing in the Tufts Symphony Orchestra and are happy to be returning to the Armory Cafe for a concert this May. The Spring Hill Quartet was formed in 2017 as a way to continue exploring string chamber repertoire and playing music with friends after graduating from college. Please join them for an afternoon of chamber music featuring the Schubert Quartet No 15, a towering work written over a span of just 10 days in the last few years of Schubert’s life.

The Somerville Songwriter Sessions at the Armory Cafe present a live, in-person concert with singer/songwriters Beth DeSombre, Phil Henry and Steve Allain. The concert will feature a solo set by each artist, followed by a round robin song swap.

Suggested Donation: $15.
Doors: 7:00PM.
