The Center for the Arts at the Armory is excited to announce the 12th season of the Somerville Winter Farmers Market! This weekly market with 35+ vendors offers the best locally grown and regionally produced foods including fresh produce, cheese, eggs, meats, fish, breads, tamales, Peruvian pastries, chocolate, and more.

We are excited to announce a tasting with Kamaal of Hillside Harvest Hot Sauces on April 16th from 12-2 PM, during our final Farmer’s Market for the season!

In response to the threat posed by COVID-19, this season we are also offering a Pre-order Market along with a curbside pickup at the Armory. For more information, please click here.

New Exhibition by Eddie Calle at ROOTED Armory Cafe and Farmstand April 4th – 30th

You are invited to ROOTED Armory Cafe and Farmstand to check out the new exhibition by Eddie Calle that is up April 4th – 30th, and to join us for an Opening Reception with Eddie Calle and Exhibition Coordinator Hank Fay on Saturday, April 16th from 2 – 4pm.

Eddie Calle was born in Harlem, New York and now lives and works in Cape Cod. His painting consists of themes and a lexicon passed down from the great painters before him–universal yet simple themes/symbolism that is experienced by people for millennia and yet one can still pull inspiration from.

ESH Circus Arts: Spring Student Showcase

We’re thrilled to welcome our community to our first in-person show in more than two years! Join us to celebrate our fabulous student performers in the Spring Student Showcase. This show is open to ages 5 and up with proof of vaccination. All attendees must wear masks while inside the Armory.
