What’s a SMUT SLAM? I’m so glad you asked! It’s a fast-paced storytelling open mic based on REAL life, REAL lust, REAL sex. Consenting Slammers sign up on the night of to tell a 5-minute dirty story, based on their real lives, and a lucky 8-10 names will be drawn at random. A panel of celebrity judges will be on hand to evaluate your stories, and bestow the top three Slammers with a sack of sexy swag from Good Vibrations Harvard Square . You will also have the opportunity to win goodies from NJOY by submitting your anonymous questions and confessions!

RULES:
No notes! This is storytelling.
No costumes or props! This is not theatre.
Only 5 minutes! (With a 1 minute grace period)
The story must be real and have happened to YOU.
Stories are often funny and/or epic win but we want to encourage people to consider sharing their sad, disturbing, poignant, serious, simple and/or ‘fail’ experiences too.

TAKE NOTE: Smut Slam is queer-friendly, kink-friendly AND vanilla-friendly, fat-friendly, poly-friendly… Yes, we are very friendly. We welcome people with all types and amounts of sexual experiences to our space. We DO NOT welcome stories involving racism, transphobia, homophobia, sexism or any form of discrimination, fetishization or objectification. Also, CONSENT IS KEY.

DOORS: 7:00, SHOWTIME: 7:30
WHERE: The Cafe at Arts at the Armory
HOW MUCH: $10 suggested donation (No one will be turned away)

Please Note: As of August 28, 2021, the Center for Arts at the Armory will require all staff and event guests to show proof of vaccination status. Children under the age of 12 will not have to show proof of vaccination for admittance to events but are required to wear a mask. Guests who wear masks and present a negative COVID test 24 to 72 hours prior to the event will also be admitted. Guests are encouraged to show proof of vaccination from their cell phones. In addition, once inside the Armory building, the Center for Arts at the Armory requires all staff, volunteers, interns, vendors, shoppers and guests to wear a mask regardless of whether they have been vaccinated against COVID-19.

The Hunger Games meets Dodgeball, Archery Tag® is the exhilarating new sport that’s easy to learn and hours of fun.  Adults only, please.  When you arrive you’ll be assigned a team and teams will rotate playing each of the other teams throughout the evening. You’ll play a round and then have a break before your next round. Masks are required as well as proof of vaccination. The cost for the evening is $10 per person.
