CANCELLED: Musician Performance: Trae Sheehan

CANCELLED: Musician Performance: Trae Sheehan

Thu. Nov. 18, 2021 at 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

UPDATE: This event has been cancelled. Apologies for the inconvenience!

If you’re a fan of Jackson Browne’s voice, Mumford & Son’s live energy, and Randy Newman’s humor, you won’t want to miss this show!

After one very long apocalyptic groundhog day, home-worn troubadour, Trae Sheehan, is ready to dive back into his normally busy schedule of tours and music releases. Handing us a sonic map, he is guiding us out of the past year into a changed world which vaguely resembles the one we knew before. Along with his upbringing on a West Virginia alpaca farm and touring the country in his converted minivan, his 2019 release ‘Arizona’ reached No. 7 on the Roots Radio charts, and his 2020 album ‘Postcards from the Country’ was featured with American Songwriter, The Bluegrass Situation, and Glide Magazine. Sheehan’s latest record ‘Hello from the End of the World’ has been featured in the Top 100 of the Americana Radio Charts and is available now.

Doors Open @ 6:00 PM, Event begins at 7:00 PM

Guests who wear masks and present a negative COVID test 24 hours prior to the event will also be admitted. Guests are encouraged to show proof of vaccination from their cell phones. In addition, effective August 13, 2021, once inside the Armory building, the Center for Arts at the Armory requires all staff, volunteers, interns, vendors, shoppers and guests to wear a mask regardless of whether they have been vaccinated against COVID-19. We will continue to evaluate and update these policies as the situation evolves.

Please note:
this show will not take place in person at the Armory on 11/21, it will be live streamed here: https://youtu.be/S5st0pyDKTo

This month’s performers are Lindsay Foote, Lee Zangari, Abigail Arndt, Colin McGovern, and John O’Leary.

The Loop is a collective of singers, songwriters, and musicians — including Linda Marks, Alex Rosiewicz, Dan & Faith, and Doug Farrell — that are based in the Boston area. The different backgrounds and musical styles of the group have been a foundation for collaborative get-togethers and discussions about the craft of songwriting since early this year. Every third Thursday of the month, The Loop takes these ideas to the stage with several performers playing sets of 15-30 minutes. We welcome those who have interest in developing their own creative outlet in music and songs as well as those who merely want to enjoy the music and atmosphere.
