The Somerville Homeless Coalition (SHC) helps meet the needs of homeless and near homeless individuals and families by operating two shelters, providing case management and supportive services to obtain and maintain permanent housing, prevention services, and a food pantry and meals program. SCM Community Transportation provides vital services to over 300 Somerville residents each year. Door2Door.SCM promotes the independence of seniors and people with disabilities through community-based transportation.
