Coming Up: Brewfest & Music!

This weekend — tonight and tomorrow, specifically — we are pleased to be hosting the 4th Annual Hyper-Local Brewfest.  The purpose of this annual tasting fundraiser presented by Sustainable Business Network of Massachusetts (SBN) is to highlight and promote local brewers of beer, newly established breweries, cider & mead, artisan beverage makers, and local food vendors, many of whom source from local ingredients.

Join us for one session, two, or all three:

Friday, June 12, 2015, 6:30 – 9:30pm plus Cask-conditioned beers from selective brewers

Saturday, June 13, 2015, 3:00 – 6:00pm and 7:00 – 10:00pm

Join Us This June

Happy June!  It may be a little damp and cool outside, but things are hoppin’ in here.  Be sure to check out all of our upcoming events, both in the Performance Hall and in the cafe.  We’ve got everything from comedy to music to plants — yes, we said “plants” — to creative writing over the next week.  Don’t miss any of the action.

The Cafe is OPEN on Memorial Day

Memorial Day Weekend is almost here!  It wasn’t that long ago that it seemed as if winter would never end, but we’ve made it to this celebratory weekend that means “Summer Preview” — YES!!  Many of you may have the day off from work — why not come check out our cafe?  We have artisan sammies and fresh baked treats not to mention a delightful selection of bevvies ranging from coffee and tea and smoothies to beer and wine.  Don’t forget the (daily) free parking!

We’re open our regular hours — 8am-6pm — this Memorial Day. Check out the menu here.

In addition to the cafe being an excellent gathering place for you and your friends, it is also a show venue.  This Memorial Day, the cafe is thrilled to host four rising singer-songwriters, Jake Shane, Jack Dean, Ian Fitzgerald, and John Faraone, swapping songs in the Round.  These two New Englanders, a Nashvillian and a Brit all have unique styles which fit loosely into the Americana genre.  The show runs from 7pm-9:30pm.  Come early for a delicious craft beer and snack!
