Twelfth Night: Somerville Premiere

You’re invited to the premiere of the Queer Theatre Project’s Shakes-Queer production of “Twelfth Night.”

This genderqueer re-imagination lives in a world where the gag isn’t a gender flip flop, but having to hide your true self in a cutthroat corporate world. See this classic retold through a queer lens on gender, desire, and self-expression.

The Queer Theatre Project is an all-volunteer recreational theatre company that makes art by and for the LGBTQIA+ community and their allies. Every show, we fundraise for organizations in the community that are doing good work for the queer and trans folks of the Boston metro. Last summer, we raised over $1,500 for Trans Emergency Fund. This year, we are splitting the donations between Youth on Fire, GLASS, and The Theater Offensive.
