The Center for Arts at the Armory is conveniently located at 191 Highland Avenue between Davis and Union Squares in Somerville, Massachusetts. The award-winning Arts at the Armory Café can be found on the left-hand side as you enter the first floor. A free 44-space parking lot is located behind the Armory. Additional overflow parking lots are available. Please see below for their locations.
Because the Armory is located in a busy residential neighborhood, parking can be limited, and we strongly encourage you to car pool, take public transportation, ride your bicycle or walk. There are bicycle racks behind and in front of the building. Please do not lock your bike on the Armory railing.
Arts at the Armory is approximately a 15 minute walk from Davis Square which is on the MBTA Red Line. You can also find us by using either the MBTA RT 88 and RT 90 bus that can be caught either at Lechmere (Green Line) or Davis Square (Red Line). Get off at the Highland Avenue and Lowell Street stop. You can also get to us from Sullivan Square (Orange Line) by using the MBTA RT 90 bus. Get off at the Highland Avenue and Benton Road stop.
Turn by turn directions are available by clicking on the map below.
We have two overflow lots available for events once the main lot reaches capacity:
112 Central St, Somerville, MA 02143
75 Belmont St, Somerville, MA 02143 – available after 6 pm
For those of you traveling from out of town, there are regrettably no hotel accommodations within walking distance of the Armory. However, there are many options that are a short drive away and/or a few stops away on the MBTA Red Line. If you will be using the Red Line, we suggest you look at the numerous possibilities in Harvard Square (2 stops away) and Kendall Square (4 stops away).
