The Center for Arts at the Armory presents our August Art Exhibit: “Drawing the Line”. Drawing as a form of expression is an art that goes back to the dawn of time. From cavemen carving simple shapes and icons on cave walls to da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man, the delicate curve or sharp strike of a line across a page can emit powerful emotions. Drawings can take on many forms; they can be simple and straightforward, or they can be complex and chaotic.

We are excited to present the work of 5 local artists who use the line as their muse. These works embody the line in many interpretations.

The Armory will be providing light refreshments and drinks will be available for purchase at the Armory Cafe during the event. We hope to see you there!
