Aural Arcadia is a one day festival dedicated to creating a gentle performance space and to ease the return of live music. Picture a sunrise spreading over an idyllic pasture, the rays spreading across the green landscape. The perfect setting to comfort you as the world reopens and we start to shake off our dust, loosen our anxiety and begin to gather. Aural Arcadia is that gentle light that warms your back and releases the tension in your shoulders as you enjoy your surroundings with thoughtful community.

Produced by ONCE Somerville, curated by Pasithea Productions and taking place at Arts & The Armory, Aural Arcadia will feature 7 local performers from various genres who’s music will lift your spirits and melt some of those anxieties you’ve been caring for the past 15 months, if only just for a little while.
This will be an outdoor performance experience with indoor amenities including a local vendor area curated by the Buzz Market and bar service for 21+ only, tickets are $20 adv and $25.

PLEASE NOTE:
ONCE is beyond excited for the return of live events. We take the safety of our attendees, performers, volunteers, and staff very seriously and are committed to adhering to both Somerville city government and Governor’s COVID-19 regulations on the occasion of re-opening. Our goal is to continue to bring our community together in the name of art and in the safest way possible.
At this point in time all of ONCE’s shows are all taking place outdoors and we will be enforcing the following standards for our production at The Armory.

– If you feel any symptoms of covid or other illness, please stay at home and we hope you feel better soon
– This is a residential area and we need to be mindful of the noise level with consideration of our neighbors.
– The seats are available on a first come, first served basis.
– In case of rain we will postpone the show.
– There will be a 21+ only bar space available inside the Armory’s main room.
– No alcohol is permitted outside.
– Be kind and have general respect for other guests and their comfort levels surrounding the re-opening phase, with that in mind we’re encouraging everyone to stay masked when they are not eating or drinking.
– We will not be taking cash for ticket sales at the door
