Third Tuesday of every month, with different featured poets each time, and a chance to read your own work during the open-mic section at the end. Featured poets:


Mary Bonina‘s memoir My Father’s Eyes, and poetry Clear Eye Tea, and Living Proof, were published by Cervena Barva Press. Interviews, essays, and articles appear in print and online. She narrated audio books for the blind, of her own work and several well-known novelists. A VCCA fellow, Bonina’s many residencies include one at VCCA’s retreat, Moulin a Nef, Auvillar, France. Her M.F.A. is from Warren Wilson College.

Timothy Gager is the author of fifteen books of fiction and poetry. His latest, Spreading Like Wild Flowers, is his eighth of poetry. Timothy hosted the successful Dire Literary Series in Cambridge, Massachusetts from 2001 to 2018 and was the co-founder of The Somerville News Writers Festival. He has had over 600 works of fiction and poetry published, of which fifteen have been nominated for the Pushcart Prize. His work has been read on National Public Radio. His work also has been nominated for a Massachusetts Book Award, The Best of the Web, The Best Small Fictions Anthology and has been read on National Public Radio.


Chris O’Carroll is a writer, actor, comedian, and Light magazine featured poet who frequently contributes topical satire to that journal’s “Poems of the Week.” His work appears in The Great American Wise Ass Poetry Anthology, and his collection The Joke’s on Me has been hailed as “a hilarious book, an erudite one, and truly moving.”
