Evicted Exhibit: Opening Reception

Date(s) - Thu. Sep. 08, 2022
6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Join us on September 8th at 6:30pm for the opening of the Evicted exhibit: the immersive exhibition based on Matthew Desmond’s Pulitzer prize-winning book, Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City , which uses new data developed by the Princeton Eviction Lab to examine the reasons for and fallout from the millions of American evictions each year. The exhibit is hosted by the Community Action Agency of Somerville and will be on the second floor of The Armory until November 4th.

Our opening night event will include local musicians, poets, a reception with food and drink, and the opportunity to get the first look at the new exhibit. The event is free to the public, but we ask that attendees please register in advance.

To register, please visit the Eventbrite listing here.

The mission of Arts at the Armory is to provide an inclusive and accessible venue for arts, cultural and community events, exhibitions, markets, classes and more.
