Hello Boston animators and artists! As you know, at AniMAtic we’re dedicated to bringing you talks with unique artists who have forged unique paths, and that’s why we’re so excited to welcome Christine A. Banna to our stage.
New England native Christine A. Banna is a multidisciplinary artist in every sense of the word! She works in both modern and traditional methods such as painting, drawing, projection design, and animation and utilizes them in her art practice. Her films and art have been shown all over, from Boston to South Korea and many places in between. Join us on December 10th at the Armory Cafe to see and hear about Banna’s incredible work and her very non-traditional career in animation, and to hear about her current work creating projection design for an upcoming performance of Stravinsky’s “A Soldier’s Tale.”
Event starts at 7pm, talk starts at 7:30pm
Free and open to all, with a suggested donation of $5. Free parking is located behind The Armory.
This event will be held in the cafe where beer, wine and a full menu of sandwiches, salads and snacks are available.
