9 Week Raks Sharqi (bellydance) Series:
Come celebrate being you as we explore the expressive art of Raks Sharqi known in the west as bellydance. Raks Sharqi is a cultural dance from the Arab world and has its roots in Egypt. Let us celebrate our bodies that come in all shapes, and sizes and represent an array of ages and cultural backgrounds. Wear comfortable clothing, bare feet and a hip scarf.
