Topics In Herbalism

This is a program that  allows adults to gain a deeper understanding of the benefits that plants and essential oils hold. They will also be introduced to different ways of making their own products,  including herbal remedies, essential oils, soaps, and candles…etc. Participants can pick and choose, and sign up for whichever courses interest them.

**The  recommended deadline to sign up for the classes is two weeks prior to each class.**

Everyday Herbs for Immune Health

About the Event: There are many herbs that support the immune system and help us to stay healthy and strong throughout the cold and flu season. In this class we will discuss immune strengthening herbs that can be used to prevent illness, as well as immune stimulating herbs that can be used for acute situations. Throughout the class we will sample herbal teas, tinctures, and essential oils and discuss how and when to use each appropriately.

Date and Time: This is a one time event that will be held on Thursday, November 9th from 6-7:30PM

Herbal Remedies for Digestion

About the Event:  This class will address simple teas you can make at home and we’ll discuss herbs you can find at the grocery stores to improve your digestion such as thyme, cinnamon and more… We’ll also discuss probiotics, gut bacteria, the gut/brain connection, and alternative ways to better your health. Handouts will be provided. You will taste different herbs and teas throughout the session. You will also walk away with a tea blend created during the session.
