What is Skillshare? Somerville Skillshare is a free monthly learning event that features classes around any innovative topic and we encourage locals to teach it. It’s a way to learn new skills, jump-start new hobbies, and meet other people with similar interests, all in a fun and informal setting.
On March 2nd, 2014, nearly 800 people attended the first annual Somerville Skillshare that featured classes taught by nearly 40 local teachers. Ever since we have turned this event into a monthly series so that we can continue to showcase the unique talents of local residents.
