Mindfulness and Holistic Living
This is a program that allows adults to lead a mindful lifestyle with a more holistic approach. Different classes will include varying types of yoga, meditation, Reiki, etc. Participants can pick and choose, and sign up for whichever courses interest them.

Wellness Wednesdays – Holistic Health

About Wellness Wednesdays: Wellness Wednesday” talks will cover a range of health & wellness topics designed to help you discover a life filled with ease, potential, & transformation. 

About Holistic Health: This talk will offer participants an opportunity to privately journal with an option to work in groups to gain clarity and support to establish new healthy habits.

Dates and Times: This is a one-time session on Wednesday, August 2, from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm.



Green Spaces in the Urban Landscape Series:



Series Description: Each week we will learn about a family of plants that do wonderfully in the home and also have the potential for creative design and beautiful aesthetics.  After learning about a particular plant family and its care needs and design potential, students are able to take home their own member of that plant family. 

August 1 – Sansevieria:*Native to Africa, Madagascar and southern Asia, the Sansevieria goes by a number of monikers including Snake Plant or Mother in Law’s Tongue. 

August 8 – Dracaena: *Chances are, we’ve all seen a Dracaena plant in our lives but just not realized it. The beautiful, long leaves of the many Dracaena varieties comes in a myriad of colors and add an immediate lushness to any space.

August 15- Succulent: *One of the most popular and colorful plant varieties, succulents come in a seemingly endless variety of shapes, colors, and sizes. 

August 22- Philodendron: *One of the most famous houseplants, the Philodendron’s well-known heart-shaped leaves can be found just about everywhere.

August 29- Alocasia: *What home is complete without a gorgeous “Elephant Ear”? The Alocasia is one of the most striking plants to have in any space, and with their arrow leaves and amazing color contrasts, they make an effortless statement. 


Dates and Times: This is a five-week series on Tuesdays in August, from August 1 to August 29, from 7 to 9 pm. You can either register for each class independently or register for the whole series with a discount.

**The  recommended deadline to sign up for the classes is two weeks prior to each class.**
