Class Description: In this class participants will learn how to manipulate fluid acrylic paint to achieve a variety of highly detailed effects, as well as how to combine and balance those effects. It’s an intensely fun and rewarding process. It is also extremely messy, so wear clothes you don’t mind getting paint on.
About the Instructor: James Neville is an abstract painter. He started getting really into painting during his late teens and early 20s when he was living in Queens. He discovered his artistic voice around that time and has been refining it ever since. He’s been active in the greater Boston area for about eight years. He draws the core of his inspiration from the kind of intricate beauty that can come from natural chaotic processes.
This program is supported in part by the Massachusetts Cultural Council (MCC).
