Class Description: This interactive workshop explores the tension between how we see ourselves and how we are seen by others. Participants use collage and mixed-media to explore how they believe other people see them outside of their box. On the inside, they are invited to depict how they see themselves. Alternatively, they can focus on the parts of their identity they keep private vs. those they share with others.
About the Facilitator: Dani Patrick is an artist and educator working to create spaces for transformative learning and personal growth. Trained as a youth educator, they love bringing groups together and facilitating deeper understanding. Dani’s interactive workshops utilize art and creative exploration as a tool for participants to explore their own experiences while building a connection with others. Their youth workshops focus on identity, self-esteem, relationships and finding your voice.
