Class Description: Participants will have fun exploring their inner and outer selves and creating masks that represent each layer. The class will culminate in each person sharing their discoveries through movement, sound, and words.
About the Facilitator: Peyton Pugmire holds a BA degree in theatre performance and a MA degree in theatre education. He is currently studying to become a Registered Drama Therapist at the Omega Theatre under the mentorship of founder and field pioneer, Saphira Linden. Over the past fifteen years, teaching and theatre administration have defined Peyton’s career, which has included top leadership positions with the Watertown Children’s Theatre, The Boston Conservatory at Berklee and Wheelock Family Theatre. He also taught middle and high school drama in the Winthrop Public School system. In 2005, Peyton founded Divine Stage Works, a small fringe theatre company, which he ran until 2013 in Jamaica Plain, MA. He is also an award-winning Boston theatre director and actor, as well as a private acting coach.
