Class Description: Participants will take a look at artist William Wegman for inspiration. He took multiple postcards with different images and created a new world where they all fit together. Following in his footsteps, students will take parts of magazine photographs with architecture and landscape elements and connect them to create a new landscape. Part of an artist’s responsibility is to interpret what we see in the world around us. But what if we can only see a part of the whole? Then we invent the rest! How can we construct a world for two different ideas to live in?
About the Facilitator: Taylor Doiron is an artist based on the North Shore. She loves making things and sharing that love with others.
