Ulster Landing is a Boston-based band focused on traditional music of the Celtic nations including Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Cornwall and Brittany. Shows feature an array of spirited folk tunes and songs performed on fiddle, uilleann pipes, harp, bouzouki, and voices. Ulster Landing maintains a busy performance schedule, with its musicians playing for hundreds of concerts and private events throughout New England. The group’s name is a reference to the Irish province of Ulster, where Scottish and English settlers landed in the 17th century. Recently returned from their Baltimore debut, Ulster Landing appears regularly at the New England Folk Festival and in 2015 was delighted to open for British folk rock icons Steeleye Span. www.ulsterlanding.com
