Nice to Miss You is an evening of dance in multiple styles, presented by Natalie Johnson Dance (NJD). The performance will feature the premier of “Here Now, Thereafter,” a dynamic, playful quartet danced to a mixture of silence, classical music, and spoken word, by NJD. NJD will also perform excerpts of AGEN, their original evening-length work. Included in the program is a tap and percussion piece by DrumatiX, a modern duet by ProviDANCE Project, and a newly created trio from Erin McNulty.
This will be NJD’s first full-length production in Boston since moving from NYC. The company has presented choreography throughout NYC, Maine, Massachusetts, Chicago, and North Carolina.
