What will happen to your artwork in the future? Will the materials you choose stand the test of time? What can you do to ensure the preservation of your artwork? We will begin to unpack these questions and perhaps many more that you never considered in the first event of its kind in the Boston area.

This will be a panel discussion with local professional art conservators of various specialties to represent the diversity of art materials (see biographies below). Art conservators are highly trained professionals with a deep understanding of material science and aging processes.

Aside from answering questions, we will also be providing resources and information on how to continue learning and staying engaged in this arena.

The café will remain open for the purchase of sandwiches, salads, baked goods, coffee, tea, and more.
