What is Armory ART?
Armory ART is a program that allows adults to explore their creative side while working on their artistic skills in a wide range of mediums and disciplines; older kids who are interested can also attend the classes. Participants can pick and choose and sign up for whichever courses interest them.
**The recommended deadline to sign up for the classes is two weeks prior to each class.**
Singing with Eliyahu Kheel
If you like singing now’s the change for you to learn how to properly sing even when no one is watching! You will learn how to breathe and articulate, you will also learn about resonance, connection and intention.
Time and Date:
This is a three week series of six sessions on Thursdays and Fridays from March 10 through March 25, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
Price:
The fee is $20 per class. You may sign up for one or all the classes, but we strongly encourage you to consider attending all four sessions. Sign up here.
Color Mixing for Oil Painting with Maggie Cedarstrom
Learn how to mix a full palette for a still life painting. One painting will be completed per session!

This class is a three week series on Wednesdays from March 23 through April 6 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Introduction to Drawing with Carly Sweeney
Master drawing skills and develop an understanding of visual organization and visual expression. Expand your knowledge of composition, mark, proportion, shape, figure/ground relationships, perspective, and volume through both line and value drawings.

This is an eight week series on Thursdays March 24 through April 21, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Layered Drawing (Multiple Media) with Maggie Cedarstrom
Build multi-faceted drawings from life and explore markmaking through different tactics.

This is a one time class on Saturday March 26 from 2:00 pm to 5:00pm.

Beginning Belly Dance with Sardis
Explore Middle Eastern music and rhythms by getting a good grasp of the foundations of belly dance.

This is a four week series on Sundays from 01:00 pm to 02:15 pm, from April 3 to April 24, in the B3 dance studio.

Beginning Acrylic Painting with Carly Sweeney
Learn the techniques of acrylic painting and create a representational work from life!
Time and Date:
This is a seven week series on Thursdays April 28 through June 16 (excluding May 26) from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
Price:
The total cost of the series is $140. $100 deposit is required prior to the event and the rest of the amount will be paid on the first day of class. The materials for Acrylic are somewhat expensive and will cost approximately $100. We will send you the materials list, once you register for the workshop. Sign up here.

The title is self-explanatory, learn to draw using embroidery! And the results are stunning!
