Soundproofing Benefit Concert Series: Line-Up Announced

Arts at the Armory Soundproofing Benefit Concert Series is pleased to present SOMETHING CIVIL, featuring the musical stylings of James Barrett (songwriter, vocalist, guitarist). Aylin Unsal (cajon/percussionist, harmonies, sound engineer, producer), and Lauren Barrett (backup vocals and harmonies).  

They will be joined by Kevin SinclairNick Szydlowski, and Dan Martinelli.
The lineup will go as follows:
8:00 pm – Dan Martinelli
8:30 pm – Kevin Sinclair
9:00 pm – Something Civil
9:30 pm – Nick Szydlowski

 

Doors open at 7:30pm.

April Highlights

April Galas Galore

On Friday, April 8th, Sibling Connections’ annual fundraiser will be celebrating families in the Hall.  Sibling Connections helps reunite children who have been separated by their placement in foster care.  Registration information here.
On Saturday, April 9th, the Somerville Homeless Coalition’s”Under the Roof” will be hosting their annual dinner in the Hall.  For ticket information, click here.
On Thursday, April 14th, YUM: A Taste of Immigrant City will be bringing a wide range of culinary delights to the Hall. Benefitting The Welcome Project, this delicious event will also have a silent auction and raffle.  Tickets are available here.

Acrobatic Conundrum is bringing their thrilling circus show to The Armory for two unforgettable shows!  Juggling, flying, flipping, and all kinds of acrobatics — just add 20 feet of air beneath the performers’ feet and you get the idea.  Watch some real life romances, especially the one between love and gravity, play out before your eyes.  Don’t miss this beautiful show.  Tickets available for both performances here.

Arts Council Community Summit

Join the Somerville Arts Council for an afternoon of discussion about community arts:  how are things going, what could be better, what kinds of support would be helpful…  This is a forum for you to work together with the Council to ensure a bright future for local artistic efforts, programs, and more!

The Asperger/Autism Network (AANE) Neurodiverse Arts Cafe
